MW: U.S. stock futures extend rise after jobs data

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures added to early Thursday gains after the government reported weekly jobless claims declined 38,000 to 550,000 last week. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 55 points to 9,300.00. Those for the S&P 500 gained 4.4 points to 1,005.2, while Nasdaq 100 futures rose 4 points to 1,618.5.
