FRX: Dollar holds gains vs euro after US jobless claims data
NEW YORK, Aug 6 (Reuters) - The dollar held gains versus the euro on Thursday after a government report showed the number of U.S. workers filing new claims for jobless benefits dropped more sharply-than-expected last week.
The euro was last 0.3 percent lower at $1.4370. The dollar was 0.7 percent higher at 95.66 yen. (Editing by Theodore d'Afflisio)
