BLBG: Anglo Platinum, Trans Hex Group: South African Equity Preview

Aug. 7 (Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies whose shares may have unusual price changes in South Africa. Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names and prices are from the last close.
South Africa’s FTSE/JSE Africa All Share Index rose for a sixth day, adding 136.89, or 0.6 percent, to 25,045.68, the highest since Sept. 22.
Anglo Platinum Ltd. (AMS SJ): The world’s largest platinum producer is scheduled to hold talks over wage adjustments with the National Union of Mineworkers. The stock gained 3.10 rand, or 0.5 percent, to 621 rand.
Trans Hex Group Ltd. (TSX SJ): Africa’s biggest publicly traded producer of diamonds holds its annual general meeting. The shares gained 39 cents, or 11 percent, to 3.99 rand.
