LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Eight people have been arrested for hijacking the cargo ship Arctic Sea, Russian defense minister Anatoly Serdyukov said Tuesday, according to news reports. The ship disappeared from radar after traveling through the English Channel last month, stumping maritime authorities. The ship was found by Russia's navy on Monday near the Cape Verde Islands. Serdyukov said the hijackers included nationals from Russia, Estonia and Latvia, according to news reports.
