FX :GBP/USD: Pound testing levels above 1.6565 session high
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The Pound is gathering strength and after returning to levels above 1.6500, sterling is challenging resistance area at 1.6565 to approach intra-week high at 1.6595.
Resistance levels, above 1.6565 , lie at 1.6595/00 area, and above here, 1.6660 (Jun 3 high). On the downside, initial support lies at 1.6500 intra-day low, and below here, 1.6430 (Aug 10 and 11 low), and 1.6390 (Aug 12 low).
GBP/JPY decline from intra-week high at 15755 on Wednesday found support at 1.5365 on U.S. session to bounce up, reaching levels above 156.00 ahead of the European session opening. Resistance levels lie at 156.70 and 157.10. Support levels are 155.30 and 154.30.
