MW : U.K. July retail sales rise more than expected
LONDON (MarketWatch) -- British retail sales volumes rose 0.4% in July, for a 3.3% rise compared to the same month last year, government data showed Thursday. Economists had forecast a flat monthly reading and a 2.5% annual jump.
