MW : Energy stocks trade close to the flat line
 
NEW YORK (Marketwatch) -- Energy stocks traded close to the flat line on Thursday morning as investors weighed fresh jitters about climate change and position limits in commodities trading loomed against recent gains. Oil futures also cooled off as well after a big run in the previous session on an unexpected drop in U.S. inventories. Against this back drop, The NYSE Arca Oil Index (XOI 956.90, +7.45, +0.78%) rose 0.3% to 952. The NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index (XNG 458.69, +2.48, +0.54%) fell about 0.1% to 456.
