(MSFT 23.81, +0.16, +0.68%) , Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO 21.48, +0.24, +1.13%) and IBM Corp. (IBM 118.66, +0.09, +0.08%) . The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index (COMP 1,981, +12.16, +0.62%) rose 11 points to 1,980. One notable decliner was NetApp Inc. (NTAP 21.87, -1.02, -4.46%) , which fell 93 cents a share, or 4%, to $21.95 after the storage-technology company gave a mixed outlook for its current fiscal quarter. |
