NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasury prices declined on Friday, pushing yields up, before Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's speech at the central bank's annual retreat in Jackson Hole, Wyo. Ten-year note yields, which move inversely to prices, rose 1 basis point to 3.45%. Also coming up is a report on existing home sales, which economists surveyed by MarketWatch expect will show sales rose to a 5 million pace in July from 4.89 million the previous month. Treasurys were also under pressure as better-than-expected manufacturing data in Europe boosted equities.
