NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures added to gains early on Wednesday, after a pair of reports that showed a bigger-than-expected drop in private-sector jobs and productivity rising 6.6% in the second quarter. Gold for December delivery was up $9.30, or 1%, at $965.80 an ounce in electronic trade. U.S. stock futures were under pressure, while crude oil futures rose after two days of heavy losses and ahead of petroleum inventories data.
