AFX : UPDATE 1-Hudbay finds new copper-gold zone at Lalor project
SAYS NEW MINERAL ZONE COULD BE VERY SIGNIFICANT

Sept 22 (Reuters) - Canadian miner HudBay Minerals Inc said it intersected a new significant copper and gold mineral zone at its Lalor deposit in Manitoba.
The company said its drill hole intersected the new zone, located lower than its earlier-announced zinc and gold zones.
HudBay, which is developing the Lalor deposit, located in the Chisel basin portion of the Flin Flon Greenstone Belt, said it will continue to advance the project with the highest priority.
"The copper and gold intersection in hole DUB263W02 is among the best I have seen in nearly 40 years in the mining business and the new copper-gold zone may be very significant," Chief Executive Peter Jones said in a statement.
Shares of the Toronto, Ontario-based company closed at C$9.37 Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
