BLBG: British Pound Strengthens to Less Than 90 Pence per Euro

Sept. 23 (Bloomberg) -- The pound strengthened to less than 90 pence per euro, reaching 89.99 pence, before trading at 90.02 pence as of 10:05 a.m. in London.
The British currency appreciated to less than 90 pence for the first time since Sept. 18.
