Nickel prices recovered moderately on the non-ferrous metal market here today on the back of fresh demand from industrial users.
Aluminium utensils also moved up on better offtake from consuming industries.
While, copper and brass declined in the absence of industrial demand.
Nickel rose by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 950 from yesterday&aposs closing level of Rs 945.
Aluminium utensils scrap also edged up by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 82 as against Rs 80 previously.
However, copper scrap heavy slipped by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 311 from Rs 315 yesterday.
Copper armiture, copper sheets cutting and brass moved down by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 306, Rs 302 and Rs 222 respectively.
Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar and brass utensils scrap also eased by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 319, Rs 347 and Rs 217.
