MW: Crude oil futures remain lower after housing data

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Crude oil futures remained under pressure, but were off their worst levels of the morning early on Tuesday, after an index of housing prices showed improvement in July. Crude oil for November delivery was down 82 cents, or 1.2%, at $66.03 a barrel. It earlier fell to a low of $65.82 a barrel. The S&P/Case-Shiller home price index rose 1.6% in July from the previous month. In the past year, prices are still down 13.3% in the 20 cities surveyed.
