RTRS : Euro falls vs dollar on comments from EU's Almunia
The euro fell against the dollar on Thursday after the European Union's Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner Joaquin Almunia said the Eurogroup will discuss the currency's appreciation to prepare its position for the G7.
Folling Almunia's remarks, the euro fell to the day's low of $1.4552 EUR=, falling from $1.4625. (Reporting by Rika Otsuka)
