MT: Base metals buoyed by high gold price in LME pre-market
Base metals prices were buoyed in the pre-market at the London Metal Exchange on Monday by high gold prices. Three-month copper traded to a high of $5,960 per tonne by 09:18 BST on Monday after opening at $5,880 per tonne.
