Mumbai: A mixed trend was noticed on the non-ferrous metal market here today as prices of copper scrap heavy, nickel, copper cable scrap, copper wire bar, aluminium and zinc declined moderately in the absence of industrial demand.
While, tin and copper armiture moved up on mild industrial support.
Copper scrap heavy fell by Rs 7 per kilo to Rs 303 from weekend's closing level of Rs 310.
Nickel moved down by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 957, copper cable scrap by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 313 and copper wire bar by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 341.
Aluminium utensils scrap and zinc also ended slightly lower by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 81 and Rs 110 respectively.
However, tin looked up by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 832 and copper armiture also by a rupee per kilo to Rs 304.
