IND: Copper, nickel turns weak on lower global trend
New Delhi, Oct 13 Prices of copper and nickel shed Re 1 per kg in the non-ferrous metal market in the national capital today on weakening trend at the London Metal Exchange and subdued demand from consuming industries.
Marketmen said besides weakening trend at the London Metal Exchange, subdued demand from consuming industries also put pressure on select base metal prices.
In the national capital, copper wire scrap, copper wire bar and copper mixed scrap were down by rupee one each at Rs 312, Rs 333 and Rs 292 while nickel (4x4) traded lower by the same margin at Rs 875-985 per kg.
