Base metal prices declined on the non-ferrous metal market here today due to heavy offloading by stockists in view of weakening trend in London Metal Exchange (LME).
Nickel dropped by Rs 35 per kilo to Rs 955 from yesterday&aposs closing level of Rs 990 and tin by Rs 25 per kilo to Rs 830 as against Rs 855 previously.
Copper sheets cutting fell by Rs 9 per kilo to Rs 299, copper armiture by Rs 7 per kilo to Rs 304 and copper utensils scrap by Rs 6 per kilo to Rs 287.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar moved down by Rs 5 per kilo each to Rs 318 and Rs 346 respectively.
Copper scrap heavy eased by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 312, brass utensils scrap by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 217 and brass sheets cutting by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 227.
Aluminium ingots, aluminium utensils scrap and zinc also ended slightly lower by a rupee per kilo to Rs 106, Rs 83 and Rs 112 respectively.
