BLBG: Pound Tumbles Against Dollar, Euro as U.K. Stays in Recession

Oct. 23 (Bloomberg) -- The pound tumbled against the dollar and the euro after a report showed the U.K. economy unexpectedly stayed in recession in the third quarter.
Sterling fell 0.8 percent to $1.6491 as of 9:33 a.m. in London, and 0.7 percent to 91.07 pence per euro.
