TORONTO — The Canadian dollar opened at 92.22 cents US, down 0.56 of a cent from Monday's close.
The U.S. dollar stood at C$1.0844 cents, up 0.66 of a cent.
Pound sterling was worth C$1.7680, up 0.04 of a cent and US$1.6304, down 0.96 of a cent.
The euro was worth C$1.5886, down 0.31 of a cent.
