RTRS: India gold futures rise to record on global cues
MUMBAI (Reuters) - India's gold futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) rose to a new high on Wednesday, tracking firm international markets and a weak dollar.
The front-month December contract touched a record 16,749 rupees ($359) in early trades. It was trading at slightly lower at 16,724 rupees at 10:14 a.m. (4:44 GMT).
The contract breached its previous record of 16,703 rupees reached on Monday.
