NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks rallied at Monday's start, with energy and materials fronting the gains as gold and other commodities soared on a weaker U.S. dollar. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU 10,466, +148.13, +1.44%) rose 107.92 points to 10,426.08. The S&P 500 Index (SPX 1,109, +17.80, +1.63%) climbed 14.78 points to 1,106.16. The Nasdaq Composite (COMP 2,183, +37.24, +1.74%) gained 27.60 points to 2,173.64. |
