RTTN: NZ Dollar Climbs To 4-day High Against Greenback And Yen
(RTTNews) - Extending its Asian session's rally, the New Zealand dollar showed strength against the currencies of the US and Japan in early trading on Monday. The dollar and the yen plunged today as gains in most Asian and European stocks and a surge in oil and gold reduced demand for safe-haven currencies.
The kiwi climbed to a 4-day high of 0.7349 against the greenback and 65.29 against the Japanese yen around 6:00 am ET, compared to last week's closing values of 0.7251 and 64.5 respectively. The next upside target levels for the kiwi-buck and kiwi-yen pairs are seen around 0.745 and 65.9, respectively.
