MW: Dubai shares reported down 5.9% on thin volumes

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- Dubai's main stock index fell 5.9% to 1970.20 on thin volumes Monday, according to a trader cited by Dow Jones Newswires. The report cited Ayman El Saheb, the director of operations for Darahem Financial Brokerage, as saying there were no buyers and most stocks were near their lower trading limits for the day.
