NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks turned mostly higher Monday after an index pointed to business expansion in the Chicago region in November. Financial shares fronted the gains as the Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU 10,340, +29.63, +0.29%) added 17.46 points to 10,327.38. The S&P 500 Index (SPX 1,095, +3.08, +0.28%) rose 2.02 points to 1,093.51. The Nasdaq Composite (COMP 2,138, -0.11, -0.01%) fell 1.84 points to 2,136.60. |
