RTTN: Dollar Stable Ahead Of US Weekly Jobless Claims, Trade Balance Reports
(RTTNews) - The US Department of Commerce will release its trade balance report for October at 8:30 AM ET. Economists estimate that the trade gap widened to $36.7 billion in the month.
Also, the Labor Department is due to release its customary weekly jobless claims report for the week ended December 5th at 8:30 AM ET.
Ahead of the reports, the US dollar moved sideways against its major counterparts. As of 8:25 am ET, the greenback was worth 1.4727 against the euro, 88.26 versus the yen, 1.0265 per franc and 1.6295 per euro.
