IBT: Yen loses positions

During the night, the yen lost positions after the economic rebound signs that keep improving, raising the demand for riskier assets.

The dollar against the euro is around the same levels as yesterday. Remember that when the riskier assets demand rises, the greenback is heavily sold, like the yen. This is another proof of the losing of the correlations that we're starting to see on the markets.

During the night in Europe, Moody said it's not thinking about reviewing the UK's AAA credit rating, which gave strength to the sterling.
