SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock index futures lightly added to gains Thursday after the U.S. government said jobless claims in the latest week fell to 452,000 and orders for durable goods, excluding transportation, strengthened last month. S&P 500 futures rose 3 points to 1,119. The Dow Jones Industrials Average futures gained 22 points to 10,426. The Nasdaq futures gained 3 points to 1,855. Stock futures had risen ahead of the reports.
