Dec. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Heating oil and gasoline futures rose as floor trading opened on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Heating oil for January delivery gained 4.21 cents, or 2 percent, to $2.1156 a gallon at 9:02 a.m. in New York. January- delivery gasoline advanced 1.66 cents, or 0.8 percent, to $2.035 a gallon.
