RTRS: Silver Eagle refinery in Utah to restart crude unit
HOUSTON, Dec 30 (Reuters) - Silver Eagle Refining is planning to restart a crude unit Jan. 24 at its 10,250 barrel-per-day Woods Cross, Utah, refinery, a spokeswoman said.
The company shut down the plant on Nov. 13 at the request of investigators and regulators who are probing safety issues after a Nov. 4 explosion. The refinery is 10 miles north of Salt Lake City.
Spokeswoman Cindy Gubler said on Wednesday that the company "set a target date" of Jan. 24 for the crude unit restart "and would like to have the refinery completely operational as soon as possible. (Reporting by Kristen Hays)
