NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks remained lower Tuesday after separate reports had factory orders up and pending home sales down in November. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU 10,548, -36.35, -0.34%) was off 36.58 points at 10,547.38. The S&P 500 Index (SPX 1,132, -0.90, -0.08%) shed 1 points to 1,131.99. The Nasdaq Composite Index (COMP 2,306, -3.02, -0.13%) declined 3.39 points to 2,305.03. |
