NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks tallied mild opening losses on Thursday as resource-related shares fell along with the price of commodities including gold and oil. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU 10,559, -14.44, -0.14%) fell 17 points to 10,556.68. The S&P 500 (SPX 1,136, -1.36, -0.12%) dropped 1 point to 1,136.15 and the Nasdaq Composite Index (COMP 2,297, -3.90, -0.17%) shed 1.16 points to 2,299.08. |
