The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in Tucson jumped nearly 3 cents in the past week, to reach $2.53, AAA Arizona reports.
That's still the lowest average price in Arizona, where the statewide average is $2.62, up 2.3 cents from last week.
The national average is nearly $2.71.
"This week the price of crude oil jumped to a 14-month high above $83 per barrel," largely due to a cold snap across parts of the U.S., Triple A explained in a news release.
