NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Energy stocks fell with the broad market on Friday morning after a worse-than-expected monthly U.S. employment report. The NYSE Arca Oil Index (XOI 1,105, -8.44, -0.76%) fell 0.4% to 1,108. THe NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index (XNG 555.95, -6.94, -1.23%) dipped 0.5% to 559. The Philadelphia Oil Service Index (OSX 211.90, -0.03, -0.01%) dipped 0.2% to 212. Falling crude oil futures also let some air out of energy stocks, with the front-running contract down 28 cents to $82.38 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
