RTTN: Canadian Dollar Slides To 12-day Low Against Euro
(RTTNews) - During early trading on Monday, the Canadian dollar edged down against its major counterparts. The loonie slumped to a 12-day low of 1.5005 against the euro by 7:40 am ET, compared to 1.4969 hit late New York Friday. The euro-loonie pair is presently worth 1.50 with 1.51 seen as the next likely target level.
Approaching Friday's fresh multi-week lows, the Canadian dollar also declined to 1.0596 against the US dollar and 85.16 versus the Japanese yen at this time and this may be compared to last week's closing values of 1.059 and 84.91, respectively. The loonie is now trading at 85.25 against the yen and 1.0586 versus the buck.
