RTTN: Dollar Soars Further Against Euro And Swiss Franc
(RTTNews) - Despite moving briefly sideways in the early European session, the US dollar continued to creep higher versus the euro and Swiss franc in early trading on Tuesday.
The greenback is presently trading at a 4-day high of 1.4078 against the euro and is inching closer to last week's fresh 5-month high of 1.4030. The euro-buck pair closed yesterday's deals at 1.4152.
Against the Swiss franc, the dollar is trading at a 5-day high of 1.0463 around 7:20 am ET and breaking the 1.05 resistance may push the pair to its strongest level in nearly 5 weeks. The greenback-franc pair was worth 1.0399 at Monday's close.
