LONDON (MarketWatch) -- European shares moved back from early highs on Monday, with financials under selling pressure. Shares of ING Group (NL:INGA 6.09, -0.18, -2.89%) fell 1.6% while Credit Suisse (CH:CSGN 42.95, -0.65, -1.49%) shares were down 1.2%. Overall, the U.K. FTSE 100 index edged up 0.1% at 5,066.66, the German DAX index rose 0.2% to 5,446.32 and the French CAC-40 index advanced 0.2% to 3,572.16. |
