Dollar showed mixed trading versus other major currencies in early European trading Monday.
The dollar rose slightly against the yen, but declined against the franc and the euro. Against the pound, the dollar eased from a new multi-month high.

Dollar rose to 89.57 versus its Japanese rival. As of now, the greenback-yen pair is worth 89.52, compared to Friday's New York session close of 89.33.
It fell against the Swiss franc. As of now, the greenback is worth 1.0704 against the currency of Switzerland, compared to Friday's New York session close of 1.0739.
Against the 16-nation currency, the dollar slipped during Monday's early European session. The current quote for the euro-greenback pair is 1.3710. The pair was worth 1.3650 at Friday's New York session close.
The greenback, which rose to a multi-month high of 1.5537 versus the pound, lost momentum thereafter and hit 1.5627.
Presently, the pound is worth 1.5619 against the dollar. The pound-greenback pair closed Friday's New York session at 1.5639.
