MW: Stock futures retain gains after NY factory data

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures held their gains Tuesday after the New York Federal Reserve Bank reported manufacturing activity in the area expanded at a faster pace in February from the month earlier. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 29 points to 10,146. Those for the S&P 500 Index were ahead 3.9 points at 1,083, while Nasdaq 100 futures added 6 points to 1,789.25.
