NEW YORK, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices held above $77 per barrel in New York Wednesday, after a sharp price jump in the previous trading session.
March delivery, light, sweet crude oil prices added 56 cents to $77.57 per barrel, after jumping more than $3 Tuesday with a sharp drop in the U.S. dollar.
Heating oil prices rose 0.0146 on the New York Mercantile Exchange to $2.0109 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline blendstock added 0.0158 cents to 2.004 per gallon. Natural gas prices gained 0.035 cents to $5.345 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the national average prices of unleaded gasoline was $2.608 per gallon Wednesday, down from Tuesday's $2.610, AAA said.
