RTRS: Trade-weighted sterling falls to 11-month low
LONDON, March 1 (Reuters) - The Bank of England's trade-weighted sterling index fell sharply on Monday in the wake of the pound's swift fall against major currencies.
The index fell to 76.5 =GBP, down 1.8 percent on the day, and its lowest since late March 2009, according to BoE data. It was on track for its biggest one-day decline since late September last year. (Reporting by London forex team)
