The NYSE Arca Oil Index (XOI 1,037, +5.42, +0.53%) rose 0.4% to 1,035. The NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index (XNG 546.90, +3.67, +0.68%) rose 0.5% to 546. The Philadelphia Oil Service Index (OSX 204.37, +0.86, +0.42%) rose 0.4% to 204. Anadarko Petroleum (APC 71.09, +0.68, +0.96%) rose 0.8% to $70.96. Crude futures rose 40 cents to $79.10 on the Nymex. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU 10,439, +35.44, +0.34%) rose 35 points, or 0.3%.
