AB: Dollar rallies vs euro, yen after U.S. jobs data
NEW YORK, March 5 - The dollar rallied versus the euro and yen on Friday after a government report showed the U.S. economy cut a smaller than expected 36,000 jobs in February.
The euro fell as low as $1.3538, according to Reuters data, and last traded at $1.3550, down 0.2 percent on the day EUR=>. Before the data, the euro was at $1.3575.
The dollar rose 1.2 percent versus the yen to hit a session high at 90.27 yen, versus 89.50 yen earlier.
