OIL: World Oil Prices Rise on Chinese Economic Growth
The price of oil on world commodity exchanges was growing Thursday morning as U.S. stock reserves fell more than experts had predicted.
The price of a January futures contract for WTI light sweet crude in electronic trading on Nymex was up 92 cents to $89.20 a barrel by 6:45 Moscow time. The price of a January futures contract for North Sea Brent blend was up 75 cents to $91.52 in London.
Oil prices fell the day before with January WTI contracts off 41 cents to $88.28 a barrel and January Brent contracts off 62 cents to $90.77.
