RTRS: Euro turns negative vs US dollar, hits session lows
Dec 17 (Reuters) - The euro turned negative against the U.S. dollar, hitting session lows on Friday, with some traders citing selling by official names.
Thin market conditions as the year-end approaches also contributed to the euro's choppy price action. It earlier traded as high as $1.3360 on electronic trading platform EBS in the wake of upbeat German data earlier.
The euro last changed hands at $1.3231, slightly down on the day. It hit session lows at $1.3223 EUR=EBS.
