XAG= nearing its highest in three weeks, lifted by weakness in
the dollar and strength across the commodities complex.
Gold/silver ratio hits lowest in nearly four years, at 46.1.
Forward rates on Reuters page SIFO quoted at 0.62, 0.6225,
0.635, 0.667 and 0.717 for one, two, three, six and twelve
months, respectively.
* Gold XAU= virtually flat on the day at $1,405 an ounce,
having staged its largest daily rally in nearly a month on
Tuesday, helped by a softer dollar and fresh doubt about the
U.S. economic outlook.
* Platinum XPT= slips nearly 0.50 percent on the day to
$1,744.74 an ounce, having earlier touched a seven-week high.
* Palladium XPD= eases to $780.50, from $785.22 at the
previous close, having risen to fresh nine-year highs earlier in
the day at $787.25.
