MSN: European stocks fall at year-end |

European stock markets dropped on Friday, with the London FTSE 100 index slipping 1.19 per cent to end at 5899.94 points.
Nevertheless, the Footsie marked a solid gain of 9.2 per cent in 2010.
In Paris, the CAC 40 fell 1.19 per cent to 3804.78 points, for a drop of 3.34 per cent for the year.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 closed out the year on Thursday with a loss of 1.16 per cent to 6914.19 points. However over 2010, the DAX grew by 16 per cent.
