RTRS: Dollar extends gains vs yen and euro after ADP jobs data
Jan 5 (Reuters) - The dollar extended gains against the yen and euro on Wednesday after data showed the U.S. private sector added more jobs than expected in December. For the data, click on [ID:nnEAP102100].
The dollar rose to 82.68 yen JPY= from about 82.23 before the data. The currency pair was last up 0.7 percent on the day.
The euro last traded at $1.3192 EUR=, down from the $1.3211 it traded at before the report and down 0.8 percent from the prior New York close. (Reporting by Nick Olivari)
