WSJ: Dollar Extends Gains Against Yen; Rises Above Y83.00
NEW YORK (Dow Jones)-- The dollar rose above Y83.00 Wednesday for the first time in two weeks after ADP said U.S. employers added 297,000 private sector jobs last month.
That was much stronger than the 100,000 private sector jobs analysts forecast would be added.
The dollar rose as high as Y83.07 Wednesday morning in New York, according to EBS via CQG.
